Ambience CPU usage

Is there any way to make the CPU setting stay in the same position once set at the level that you want so you don't have to change it every time a patch is changed (as every patch resets it to 100%)
- wouldn't it be better to be independent of the patch changes (like on a settings tab) as its more of a user preference than a musical one?

Yes, there has been an update with a few small bug fixes and a few more presets have been added!

This would be super cool. I would really like to be able to lock the "dry/wet" levels as well. That would be so helpful while browsing presets !!!aMUSEd wrote:Is there any way to make the CPU setting stay in the same position once set at the level that you want so you don't have to change it every time a patch is changed (as every patch resets it to 100%)

Ambience is not optimized for P4, and because Athlon doesn't need any special optimisations it runs better. And it's not just ambience... you should stay with AMD for audio apps, at least for now.

It's an Ambience thing. It's been confirmed. It's not P4 optimized at all, obviously. I'd rather use Classic Reverb instead. MUCH more friendly on the CPU and sounds just as good.
