^damn I want that for my front door.

Someone on the tranceaddicts forums just reported that today a Sweetwater sales person informed him that the TI Polar, keyboard, and desktop versions have been discontinued (Snow is still available). The TI's are no longer available on Sweetwater's website either.
Hmm that's interesting. I wonder what's going on...

I will be stopping by many booths, it's hard to even list them all. I have several meetings with developers both inside the building and at local esablishments, as well as a meeting with the magazine I write for.

I'll definitely be checking out things like the Celemony DNA demonstration and the NI booth for their new tools(whatever they are), and many others. But the biggest part for me is meeting people. Working with so many developers in one way or another, as well as the users here, it's nice to put faces to the names.

Needless to say, I'll have my new H2 with me at all times, so hopefully I'll be able to get some dirt!

I hear one of the big companies is releasing a synth that can actually imitate the Bassoon. Maybe it is one of NI's big surprises.

By the way, if anyone here WANTS to cross paths with me, just PM me and we'll figure something out. I can give my cell phone number or whatever. It'll be a busy time, but surely it can get busier!

Yes, but I think it's all fixed now. It was a pie in the sky sort of wish, I know there's almost no chance of it happening. I'll survive.

I'm hoping to see Ableton live 8 and what their partnership with cycling 74 is all about. Hopefully Energy xt 2.5 and some new things NI came up with it. I'd love see a new version of Roland SPD-S controller with an actual USB interface to send samples from a computer.

Seriously? NOTHING!
There's enough stuff out there already, which is getting more and more every day with countless freeware stuff.
