well I finally got kom 5 on my receptor Woohoo( the whole reason I bought one two years ago) but When I go to install the sample lib using DI the dvd wont come out of my computer then I have to shut down the installation. I t seems my both my computers are doing it mac book and a imac both core 2 duo's. Could I just copy the sample libs to my computer then transfer them over to the sample lib folder on the receptor?

Hi.

The dilemma that some people have run into is that the Receptor needs the windows portion of the installer and some Mac's don't recognize that portion of the installer. The first disk is recognized because it has both the Mac and PC installers visible. After that the installation hangs. I may be oversimplifying it but i think that's the root of the problem. Unfortunately, the only thing I can think of is if you don't have a PC to use, maybe you can borrow a friends laptop or take your Receptor to a friends house to do the install on their PC.

I hope this helps.

Hi Gary,

I have been dealing with the same exact problem and have documented my successes and failures here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=238187.

Lemme know how you make out.

Don't know why it keeps doing that, but there should be no spaces in the last set of numbers. Then the link should work.
