thanks again bootsy!
were you having any problems previously with it? did bootsie send you a new version to try? I'm on AMD to but its an older one and having problems.
Never had probs with it except an obscene amount of crackle in the right channel early on the beta testing which was quickly rectified. I'm using rc1 and 1.0.
I've had this pc since '07.

Post

The problem exists on the older Athlon XP processors.

Sempron counts too, since it's SSE1.

I also have an older AMD processor. :(

Bootsie - Do you plan to address the AMD issue or am I out of luck until I get a newer box?

I've already coded an additional SSE1 version which is currently in testing. First results looks promising. Of course it's a little bit more CPU intense since some tricky SSE2 assembler hacking is missing ...

bootsie,

looking forward for the modulation issue fix. I also noticed the noise thingy when modulation is used. Glad you fixed it.
excellent reverb unit! can really comapre it to many hardware commercial ones.
With the modulation fix that revebr wlil even get much better.

Any change to release now an updated version with that fix?

Post

Of course we need to re-test the whole thing with all the fixes. I think the bugfix release will be out to the end of the month.

Hello Bootsie,

I found two problems in with epicVerb in Reaper:

-> load the project into Reaper
-> now remove the first instance of epicVerb
-> all fine
-> now remove the second instance of epicVerb

=> first problem = Crash:

FIXED

Second problem:

-> load the project again
-> file -> render -> render

=> once render is finished you hear this:
render-burst.wav (154.9 kB)

This shouldn't happen. There should be silence. When using Reaper's ReaVerb, there's no such sound after render is finished.

What's wrong with epicVerb?

I found two problems in with epicVerb in Reaper:

You need this project to reproduce both problems: http://www.outburst-audio.com/maik/render-burst.rpp (12.3 kB)

-> load the project into Reaper
-> now remove the first instance of epicVerb
-> all fine
-> now remove the second instance of epicVerb

=> first problem = Crash:
Same here.
