check to make sure zebra cm dll. is still in the folder. if you reinstall it, its can easily be moved if installed in a different folder then your vsti folder. also, try scan for vst plugins in reaper.

it's definitely in there...
minihost says:
"D:\VST\u-he\ZebraCM.dll is not a valid VST plugin"
cantabile says:
"ZebraCM - LoadLibrary failed - the specified module could not be found. (0x8007007e)(vstplug)"
reaper just doesn't see it
have tried it on different drives etc
nothing

In all the DAWs i've used the .dll are in the VSTplugin folder in the DAW itself.
For example.
C:/Program Files/Steinberg/Cubase4/VSTplugins/Synth
Try doing similar in the folders of the DAWs you're using. Cpoy and paste the .dll into each one if you need to.

You might have to install msvcr71.dll - it's a Microsoft dll that gets lost upon XP/Vista recovery. Just download from the net and put in Windows\System32 folder. Don't forget to delete your host's blacklist file.

Why would you do that (what is it?)?Urs wrote:Don't forget to delete your host's blacklist file.

In Cubase and some other hosts, this file conatins a list of faulty plugins. So they don't get recanned anymore. Which means, they do not scan the plug again even if you replace it with a fixed version.aMUSEd wrote:Why would you do that (what is it?)?Urs wrote:Don't forget to delete your host's blacklist file.

I have the same problem with ZebraCM and Reaper.
Recently i reinstalled my Windows XP OS and i found that ZebraCM is not found by Reaper anymore. I tried to reinstall ZebraCM but with no luck. I also checked for the mentioned msvsr71.dll but it was where it was suposed to be.
If someone have any clue how to fix the problem PLEASE help me.
I used ZebraCM in many projects and it is one of my favourite synths.
Thank you in advance

2. Open (in notepad) this file: c:\Documents and Settings\<user-name>\Application Data\REAPER\reaper-vstplugins.ini
3. Find a line containing "ZebraCM.dll" (e.g. ZebraCM.dll=000D6C6E3C3BC701)
4. Delete this string
5. Save file.
6. Start Reaper again.
