DK+ Virtual Drums note off behaviour

I'm currently testing DK+ Virtual Drums 1.5.
Playing the samples in Reaper via a Midi-Master-Keyboard (Roland D-10)
i get them choked as soon as i release the key (e.g. cymbals).
With soundfonts or other samplers etc. i don't get this behaviour.
The setting of the note off switch (enable/disable) in the voice editor has no influence here.
Only if i hold another key (with or without a sample assigned) while hitting
the desired key it behaves as wanted and sustains until i release the "help-key"
(i think all notes off message then stops it)
How can i change this?

I've got it sorted out (with the help of Reaper forum's users, thanks to DarkStar and gofer)
I'm using my old Roland D-10 as Midi Master Keyboard.
It was set to transmit "all notes off" (To prevent sequencer programs from sounding indefinitely if a "note off" command was missing).
So each "all notes off" command stops a triggered note (e.g. cymbal, open hi-hat etc.) from sounding (chokes/mutes it)
After disabling the D-10 sending a "all notes off" it works as expected.
Since i had no other drum sampler (nor drum soundfonts) which reacted to this "all note off" message in this way i'm not sure if this is the correct behaviour.
But that's a question of philosophy.
Just want to let you know. Maybe it's of interest for some others who run into this.
