Ya know Squids, "modern music" covers a lot of terrain. Are we talking modern in terms of the 20th or 21st century or the latest incarnation of dance/rap/hiphop etc. Enquiring minds want to know.Squids wrote:One of them is a workstation for modern music.![]()

Another, something useful for making a film... or music!

That IS after NAMM. It can't get done any faster than the month after NAMM and then it takes at least a month for it to go around the world with installers, manuals, boxes, GUI, betas etc. It is in the cue for IK. We don't control it. Also, it has nothing to do with esoundz, esoundz is just a store!dachilles wrote:March or April for Studiophonik? For the love of .. We're releasing OmniDrummer the plug-in and/or sounds only option with over 40 kits that will be downloadable for KitCore (or our OmniDrummer which IS KitCore but with our name on it) from www.downloadablesoundz.com Should be available toward the end of next week!luxth wrote:look forward to hear whats cookin as well..

In this case, we're talking hip hop and electronic music mainly but also hard rock and some other styles.Rainman wrote:Ya know Squids, "modern music" covers a lot of terrain. Sry Squids I could have sworn you said the IK end of SPK was done and they were just waiting on you to polish the bits and pieces and you would get on it after Namm.
March or April is a long way off from the December statement you made during the Group buy.
Of course its a lot closer than the SOON from the 2005 thread..
Seemms its just been put on the back burner and ... languished.

No, it hasn't. We had most of it ready for the GB and then we WERE exactly adding some stuff and polishing things, making more presets etc. But since IK doesn't know when we'll be done with things they have to make their plans for effects and other things so we have to wait until they are done with AT Fender or whatever is in this slot or that slot and then we can have it! January is NAMM. February is the month after NAMM that we can get it finalized and March would be the earliest it could be shipping in that case. I say March/April in case we run into something in beta testing. Can't do better than that! The sounds themselves are 99% done. But there's the rest and it doesn't happen as fast as we'd like because it is not in our control. Sound libraries on their own are much more in our control (which is why we were able to release it as a prelude and also 15 Retank products for ST too! I'd say we're jammin'! All you're waiting for is some more patches and a GUI). We're doing our best though.dachilles wrote:Sry Squids I could have sworn you said the IK end of SPK was done and they were just waiting on you to polish the bits and pieces and you would get on it after Namm.
