FreqAnalyst Multi routing names disappear in PT

I am absolutely loving this plug-in, its the best solution to frequency overlapping and getting rid of muddiness when your ears can't find the sweet spot. I have it wrapped to RTAS in Pro Tools. When I save a session, and reopen that session later, all of my routing and naming of each track are gone. The plug is still on each insert, but it's like all of the routing settings for each track have been reset. I can't find any information in the manual on how to save these settings. Am I missing something? Please assist...

Hi,
these settings should be automatically saved together with the other settings of the plugin. Are other parameters such as precision, attack, release etc. properly saved? Did you try to force saving the project before closing it (some applications do not detect changes in plugins settings)?
BTW are you running under Windows or Mac? And is it the demo version or the purchased product?

My mistake, I forgot to mention I'm running the full version under Win XP SP2, Pro Tools 7.3.
I tried the save preset option when I was done renaming and rerouting all of the tracks again, but when I reopen the session and load the preset, it only loads one track of routing settings and one name. Do I have to save and load a preset for each track every time I reopen a session? Is there a way to load all routing settings and names for all tracks involved at once? I think it's Pro Tools fault for not saving my settings within the sessions folder. Is there a way around this?

and...I figured it out.
I saved each track with routing and name to it's own preset. When I was done, and had roughly 13 presets for each track, I reopened the session and all of my settings were still there. I've only tried this method on one session, but hopefully this will work from now on. Thanks for the quick reply. Again, great plug.

The "Multi" series are not different from any other VST plugins as far as saving their state into presets (there is no "global" routing configuration automatically saved behind the scenes). So you should not have anything special to do to have them save their routing options appart from saving their current state in the session. Is the process you are describing what you usually do for other VSTs to have them save their state?
There may be something specific to do with the VST wrapper to force it save the state, but you should not have to use the load/save presets that we provide in our plugins everytime you save/load a session (that would be a nightmare!). These functions are only provided to let you archive presets independently of the host so that you can share presets among several hosts and plugin types.

I have to admit, I didn't read the manual. I went straight into mixing once I learned how to set up the routing settings for each track. You've brought up another good point I hadn't considered. Running wrapped VST plugs in Pro Tools can have it's issues, but my method of saving track settings as presets seems to load up fine automatically when I reopened the session. Without this, my settings were erased each time, but luckily I don't have to do the renaming and rerouting each time I open the session. This was the nightmare I was trying to avoid, so I'm good
On a side note, I've noticed I am becoming a big fan of French and UK based plug-in developers (Blue Cat, Arturia, FXpansion...), and I was wondering if you could recommend anymore companies who offer great plugs like your bundles?
