Zebra's delay glitching at tempo changes

I've created this song based around one Zebra patch, a drone called "MK Harmonic Ambient."

When the Zebra drone part gets to a tempo curve, it begins to "bubble"in a steady way in a 16th note rhythm that slows down when the tempo slows down. This bubbling destroys the calm feeling of the basic sound. I've figured out that it's the delay. When I turn off the delay the bubbling goes away but then so does some of the spaciousness. Is there a way of getting the delay to run free, rather than synced to tempo? Or anything else I might do, short of turning off the delay?

Oddly, the delay is not set to 16ths (see below) but that is the tempo of the bubbling sound.

The delay is set up like so:

Delay 1, Stereo 2 Mode

sync 1 1/2
sync 2 1/4
sync 2 1/4
sync 2 1/4

Hi Camillo

If the delay screws it up you might try fiddle around with the highpass filter on the delay.

On the OSC page try turn up RESOLUTION to max, it will make the various waveforms more rhythmic.

It may have something to do with Zebra not being able to follow hard sync from host. Zebra usually fall in tempo after 4 bars on my system. So really long passages with rhytmic motions will need to be retriggered at least every 8 bar.

Dunno if any of this help but at least i tried ;)

Cheers

you can record the Zebra drone to audio without any tempo changes then use the audio on the project with the tempo changes.

Use an external delay - or what pdxindy suggested!
