Hey there, Urs! I downloaded uhbik and zebra and i like it a lot. But i'm left-hander, so in Windows XP SP3 with changed buttons on mause zebra and uhbik (may be in other ones too) plugins still in right-handed mode. Some times it's not very comfortable.

Has nothing to do with Uhe. This is a problem with all VSTs if you install a microsoft mouse. The solution is you need to use the logitech mouseware driver instead. If it doesnt work with your mouse, then you need to go out and buy a Logitech mouse.

I asked Urs about itn the huge Uhbik thread as well,

(I'm running my stationary right handed and just started using my laptop left handed so that's why I didn't notice before.)
Some Vst's handle this ok, others don't:
Example Crystal does not handle it ok,
Helix and StraightLiner handle it ok.
I guess it's all up to the developer

My experience 3 or so years ago was that ALL VSTs would not react to the switched buttons. Maybe they've changed it since then.qzizp wrote:Yes, i got microsoft mouse (1.1a), but it works fine with all plugins i have, i.e. kjaerhus, camel, blue cat, fabfilter, imposrcar and rapture.PV_INC wrote:This is a problem with all VSTs if you install a microsoft mouse.

Go buy a logitech mouse. If that doesn't fix it, then just return it. You can have your solution in 30 minutes if you leave now =) Just make sure to uninstall the microsoft driver so they don't conflict.

I'm going to work on this at some point. I kind of identified the problem in the code, but I havn't implemented the solution yet.
Cheers,
Urs
