Hi,I've just found a bunch of old tunes of mine on a hard drive from a now defunct computer. Some of the tunes use Dash Signature Eve CM,(a freeware version of Dash Signature Eve put out with Computer Music Magazine a few years ago). The VST shows up fine on my new computer but keeps asking for a serial.I no longer have the serial,so I was wondering if anybody had it.
I'm just about to e-mail Dash signature to see if they stil have it on record, but if anybody has it right now it would be a great help.
I'm kind of curious to see what I wrote with it.Thanks
It's the P.C version by the way.

Listen mate, before you think there's anything untoward going on,I would remind you that I'm asking for the serial for a piece of freeware I purchased with a magazine some years back.I only thought I'd ask here because I could probably get the info I needed a lot quicker than waiting for Dash signature to get back to me on this one.androidlove wrote:um, i don't think you can ask for a serial here

And yes,I am feeling kind of foolish for not saving it too a text file at the time.

I have a text file, backed up everywhere I can think of, and I just checked it. Out of dozens of serials, that one is not to be found. I seem to remember logging onto the CM site to get it, so you might send them an e-mail and see what they'll do.yemski wrote:Listen mate, before you think there's anything untoward going on,I would remind you that I'm asking for the serial for a piece of freeware I purchased with a magazine some years back.I only thought I'd ask here because I could probably get the info I needed a lot quicker than waiting for Dash signature to get back to me on this one.androidlove wrote:um, i don't think you can ask for a serial here

you what i don't get though is, don't you have to have eve cm in the first place to need a serial? so if the guy has eve cm already, that, and its free, whats the big deal about giving him the serial number?

Technically, CM paid the dev for this version and they should provide the serial, but in the spirit of the situation, there's nothing wrong with someone who has it (I assume everyone has the same number) sending it along.chicken muffin wrote:you what i don't get though is, don't you have to have eve cm in the first place to need a serial? so if the guy has eve cm already, that, and its free, whats the big deal about giving him the serial number?

I seem to remember it being a completely alphabetical serial, and the only reason for remembering this is it was remarkably like the Wusikstation serials.BFunKu wrote:I think that it's actually a Registry Key file? At least the one I have is.

Yeah...it was a huge string - Twice as long as the Wusik serials, but not as long as that town in the UK that earned a record for having the longest name of any town on the planet.eduardo_b wrote:I seem to remember it being a completely alphabetical serial, and the only reason for remembering this is it was remarkably like the Wusikstation serials.BFunKu wrote:I think that it's actually a Registry Key file?
