Is it possible to keep a currently playing arp pattern while scrolling though other patches?
I know it is easy to put the pattern in a sequencer and audition patches but curious if this is possible.

Arp settings are stored with a given preset. As far as I can tell it's not possible to do this. Urs has said he might add saving of arps separately from presets in the future though.

This doesn't stop you from changing the given preset yourself while the arp is playing. That works just fine.

OK thanks.

But this doesn't hold the arp pattern that is playing though.

Alternatively, is it possible to copy and paste the arp settings from one patch to another?

you can do it with a text editor... it is easier than it sounds, but I forget exactly how since it has been a while since I have... Urs will answer that one! :-)

OK, but I was wondering about copy/paste on the fly, so copy arp settings, change patch, paste arp settings, change patch, paste arp settings, etc....

A simple button to lock the arp setting would be good while scrolling through patches.

You can send the output of Dualism, a 2 arp gem from Ugo, to Zebra, and audition the Zebra sounds using the Dualism arp presets, or ones you make for it. See my topic
on Rez 2 and Dualism in the Instruments forum
Cheers :)

If your on a mac, it may be worth exploring five12's numerology sequencer.

rewiring numerology to logic has been fantastic, regardless of whether its zebra 2.3, synplant or my syntecno teebee.

PC, not Mac.

However my wish is to be able to set up the arp in Zebra as I want it to play and then audition different patches.

It would make a lot of sense to be able to "lock" certain sections (like you can in VirusControl). Arp, FX ...
