i do not understand what you mean, but i got sfz.dll with the splendid piano working.
sfz.exe do not work on the v-machine because it loads only vst-plugins. i use an usb-stick plugged in the v-machine. there has to be the samples. sowhy not in the directory where the dll is located?

Right, you do not use the EXE file just the VST.

I'm a newbie with few with little time can anyone help me?
Can anyone explain me, step by step without assuming anything, how to setup and make available to "sfz" or to "samplelord" the sf2 files? I tried to install, as explained in a post, "sfz" through a stick ("plug" and "bank" directories) and the V-Machine see "sfz" perfectly, it starts to load the preset and after 2/3 seconds all seems well but the plug-in doesn't sound.... obviously in VFX all works fine....

i have short time, but i tink you can do it easy :)
i assume in the vfx software you can hear a sound out of sfz and then you save your bank/preet. in the bank folder you have to search your bank and preset. there have to be a file: with "chunk" in its name or extension (sorry i am not at the right computer). open it with an editor like vim (this editor i took).
you see a lot of silly symbols! dont touch them! and te you see a text (like "c:/saples/example.sfz" or similar) where the sfz file lies on your computer. you only have to cange this text to:
p:\\sfz\\example.sfz
this mean you have to copy your samples in the folder where the sfz.dll is located at your usb-stick. (your usb stick is in the vmachine p: and the folder plug you do not need in the text (p:\\.....)
sorry have to leave the computer, just a short description...
good luck (i did that exactly so two days before and it worked ;)

How is the audio or DSP streamed between the V-Machine and the sequencer?
Is it thru the USB connection allowing the sequencer to route it thru it's internal buses or does it streams audio to a physical audio interface input?

The V-Machine currently does not stream Audio over USB, what you could use it for is as a physical audio output for some VST's where you get your software to send it MIDI information.

Yesterday i told you that everything is ok and in effect sfz finds and loads the sf2 files, but now i'm experiencing a new problem: i loaded two or three sf2 banks containing beatiful curch organs and in VFX all is perfect... when i go to the V-Machine, some presets (that in VFX work fine) appear as distorted... but in a strange way... i hear as a "clocked" noise (a very loud "tick") and only in some situation... the strange is that some sounds works fine and some other are distorted only when i press some key combinations (e.g the G accord...!!).. i tried to reduce both master volume that channel volume but the result is the same... what can i do? I repeat: the bank loaded in VFX or in VST host program as "Chainer" works perfectly.

Hi,
Very disappointed with my v-machine. Took it to it's first gig with Truepianos trial loaded (efficiently without the sympathetic resonances)
It was a jazz duo gig with a vocalist and the v-machine choked 3 or 4 times in the 1st set and so I was forced to switch it off and go back to my
kurzweil micropiano module.

CPU upgrade is a neccessity.

Sometime ago i read a post from Sm Pro asking what we'd be willing to pay for
CPU upgrades..
How about you(SM Pro) tell us what your cost would be for delivering the upgrades.
I think cost price would be fair. Different prices for different upgrades.
Personally I'd want to pay enough to run Truepianos OR Pianoteq without clicks, pops, choking sounds and without limits for that software.
What would I pay?
Whatever it fairly, honestly costs you (Sm Pro) to offer it.
C'mon guys.. let's see some action.
