oh my gosh..... i am so sorry to hear this...Astralp wrote:Thanks everyone, I hope to get back to things this week. My wife left me last weekend, aside from the pain, there is a lot to sort out, I am also having to move house. I can't even begin to describe the loss i am feeling....
my prayers are with you..... i know what its like to loose your wife and a home.. i lost both 8 years ago..i think i was grieving over the loss of what i called "home" almost as much as the loss of the relationship which had been unhealthy for some time.. it sounds so horribly cheesy but i didnt think i would love or remarry again until ,through Gods plan, i discovered my Current wife and best friend,, i wouldnt trade the pain and loss i experienced for anything because of what it led me to... i know its easy for me to say this to you in hindsight. but just know that someone else out here who loves music has also felt what you are feeling and hopes that your music and desire to survive this can help carry you home again someday..

Checking in with the Black Magic testers...
16 days since the last posting by anybody, just wondering if anyone is still messing with it, coming up with bugs, kits, etc.
Got the email from Andy, wish I had the money to make him an offer, but these days being a "starving musician" would be a step up.
OK then, I'll check back.
Peace folks,
jdt

Hi All
Well I have put up a new beta 17, not sure of all the changes considering whats been going on but I've added a group mode to the midi mode which plays groups of sequences for an interesting way to improvise with 1 finger (select from the Sequencer Screen). There is also lots of different destinations for the top octave to affect now instead of just Pitch. Also the background should now be complete I think, and probably some other changes. Let me know how it goes and thanks for your patience, I am trying hard to get enough enthusiasm back to finish this project.
take care
Andy

Cool Cool! I'll grab it this weekend fer sure. I have made some downright flippin' awesome drum tracks with this machine. This beast is phenominal as a VST in Deckadance...have I said that before? I'd have to say it's just about genius, but I'm probably a bit biased at this stage.
Good to hear from ya Astralp.

Hi, Andy. I hope life is going better these days.
Please give heads up for content submission when you know.
I need to set aside some time beforehand.

Will try the new beta in Mu.Lab v2.5.3 (Mu.Lab is now very stable). Good to know you're back on track for this project!

Had a go at it for a couple hours on Friday. Working very well in Tracktion 3 and I like the new options for manipulating the sound in the upper octaves. I will give it a more thorough test in the next few days.
You already know about the really slow knob issue I am experiencing in T3 but in case you missed it earlier in this thread:
the "rec volume" knob works smoothly and as it should but is the only knob that does work correctly; maybe a 'property' setting is different for it??
Glad to see you're back on the horse, Andy.
