tobybear's humanizator in mulab

since theres no humanize function in mulab's sequence editor, i tried using tobybear's humanizator vst to add a bit of randomness to my midi sequenced drums. but as soon i add it as an effect on a channel, the channel's audio stops. has anyone had success with using this plugin in mulab?

Tobybear's Humanisator is a MIDI plugin, it has no audio functions, that's why you lose sound when you insert it in a rack. MuLab doesn't yet support MIDI plugins, but it's on the list if I'm not mistaken.

I'm pretty sure you can use midi plugin in the modular area of MU.Lab, i don't know if it's possible to use them inside a rack... gonna check when i'll be at home...

MIDI plugins do work in MuLab. Tobybear Humanisator even works when inserted in a rack. Insert it before the synth you want to "humanise" and make sure the track's target is set to the rack itself.

ok, i am also sure that midi plugins can be used because for example i have a plugin which automatically transposes midi notes and it works pefectly inside a rack.

the track's target is track itself... this is something new for me but i will try it right away on my mulab comp. sounds like its gonna work! thank you Branis!

hmm ok im back
sorry for the triple post, but this is very strange
it works FINE now when i draw a sequence
but when i try to play it with my midi keybord, only the notes c2, d2 and e2 work
and the others dont.
and earlier today even the drawn sequences didnt work with humanisator.
but who cares, i mean i dont really need to use it at the same time with my keyboard so what the hell. humanizing drawn sequences was what i needed in the first place. :]

What do you mean by "don't work" when you play the keyboard? You don't have any sound or there's no humanising?
Everything works as expected here, I get both sound and humanising.

well theres no sound or anything
pressing the keys creates no events
but even though its strange, i dont even need it to work with the keyboard
and yes, thank you for your help in the first place because if u didnt say it worked for you i wouldnt haven given it another try.
