Dk+ 1.5?

I have DK+ 1.2. Is there an upgrade path to 1.5?

The reason I am asking is that I cannot remember how to fix a problem I resolved a while back when I was using DK+. Version 1.2 will not open properly in FL Studio or Sonar 7.

I get the error "Bitmap failed to load, Running out of memory." It is not a shortage of memory - I have 2 G of very fast RAM. I have reinstalled several times and still get the same problem in FLS and Sonar. I also have this problem with eXT 2.5.

I need to know if DK+ 1.5 have this problem before buying it? There appears to be no demo.

There is an upgrade path from 1.2 to 1.5, you have to go to the buy page to see it though.

As for your other problem, there should have been 2 links in your email one being the "less memory" version, which might solve your problem. Might be an idea to either pm Luigi or email the nusofting from the support page

I'm currently re-installing my plugins so I'll try my 1.2 in the latest FLS and get back to you. I haven't got the "less memory" version to try though

Alright it was closer to 40 minutes as FLS took longer to download than expected.

Okay I managed to reproduce this by using the 1.0 version

Using the standard version gave me the same error but the "less memory" version didn't. Strangely after running the less memory version the standard version suddenly started working

In case it helps here's my directory structure

A few things to try:

1) See if you've got a "less memory" version somewhere and try running that. My 1.0 version was in the full_installer zip.
2) Double clicking one of the exe skin files (as the bmp are all part of the skin files) and see if that sorts things out
3) Wait for Luigi who should at least know what he's talking about

Thanks. Yes the less memory version works but why doesn't the standard version esp since I am now running it on a much more powerful PC.

Thanks for the heads up on the upgrade. I didn't see it - sometimes my browser here at work where I do most of my surfing doesn't let me go everywhere.

Just a quick update to let you know 1.5 worked first time in FLS (8.02)
I deleted the previous installation first and it ran with no problems.

I've no idea on why the "less memory" version works when the standard memory one doesn't Agree it seems completely illogical so I can only presume it maybe to do with the language/libraries the hosts were programmed with as both versions worked in EXT2.5

yes beardalone , i had the same issue with dk 1.2 both in tracktion and energy xt , didnt have any issues since i got the 1.5 upgrade (features a handy
icon that you can drag into your host top copy the mididata of the sequencer of dk)
