The VST versions of above mentioned plugins all have a red label assigned to them on the Mac which I can not turn off.

Why do they have this label exactly?
I can't. The option to do so is 'greyed' out.lococarlos wrote:I can turn it off just fine, like any other labelled file
Although this made me notice, I don't have zrev or zebralette components anymore, even though they show up in my host and I can use them just fine. odd
ahh... didn't see his screenshot was for the VST version. maybe they were never there before.justin3am wrote:They are all inside the .component package. Right click on the file and choose show package contents. I believe the RTAS version works this way as well.
yeah I couldn't do it on the VST either, weird.Mans wrote:I can't. The option to do so is 'greyed' out.lococarlos wrote:I can turn it off just fine, like any other labelled file

as for the reason behind the label, perhaps Zebra, being better than every other plugin in your folder, needs a way to clearly differentiate itself
The AU version had the same label and I could turn it off. I'm also the sole user of this computer so shouldn't I have those rights automatically?Urs wrote:I think you need write permissions on the files first...
Let me make clear I wasn't knocking your plug-in collection, I used 'your' in the most general sense, i.e., everyoneMans wrote:We are in agreement therelococarlos wrote:ahh... didn't see his screenshot was for the VST version. maybe they were never there before.justin3am wrote:They are all inside the .component package. Not necessarily, right click on the VST folder and the Plug-ins folder to check the permissions, it's under properties.Mans wrote:The AU version had the same label and I could turn it off. This was it. The permissions were not expanded the first time I checked so I missed it.
