Hi,
I've read on the KVR forums that, because of dongles, it isn't possible to install the V Collection. However, I see the Receptor 2 has a USB slot inside of it for dongles...anyone know if the V Collection could work using this USB slot or is it the same story with Receptor 2 as the original Receptor? Arturia make such good VSTs. I really hope they work this out.

Hi Lucas,
The V collection and the newer releases (prophet, jupiter, analog factory) all use a Syncrosoft dongle. These require software drivers as well as the USB support for the Syncrosoft dongle.
Muse have stated some support for syncrosoft in the next release, and complete support in the following release of the OS. For now, these simply will not work.
Regards,
Kevin L

Thanks for the response. Do you know what the newly-supported syncrosoft VSTs are by chance? Thanks.looneytunes wrote:Hi Lucas,

Just spoke with them-
Apparently the next Syncrosoft release will cover Ivory, Omnisphere, and the EastWest Play Edition (should be around the beginning of March).
He said Arturia's V Collection could end up in the next release...for which I'm not sure I'm patient enough.

Perhaps you are mistaking Dongle systems:
Ivory, Omnisphere and EastWest Play all use the 'ILok' dongle and anti-piracy system. Muse has supported 'ILok' since inception.
Syncrosoft is what they are working to support in the next few OS releases. Arturia and many other vendors are using Syncrosoft for anti-piracy in their vsti's.
Hope this helps,
Kevin L

And Korg Digital Legacy (M1 / Wavestation) soon I hope. RTAS performance is a bit shaky so I would sure like to move it onto Receptor. Thanks, Sky
(Opinions are my own, etc.)
