I just hope that you can use midi note input with glide as a mod source in X.
Also, I quite like the idea of using an envelope follower with Uhbik-Q to make dynamic EQ... With these plugins and X you should be able to hack together all sorts of dynamics processing...

Not sure if these have been asked before as I haven't followed this thread closely. I wonder what will be modulatable for Uhbik-D within Uhbik-X, and if I can put anything (the other Uhbiks) in between the feedback path of D.
Peace, my friends. I'm not seeking arguments here.

From what I understand Uhbik-X will have modulators that can be applied to any parameter that has a knob. As far as feedback routing, Urs has said that Uhbik-X will provide a delay and feedback amount control for each fx slot.
Hope this answers your questions.

I guess that answers my first question.justin3am wrote:From what I understand Uhbik-X will have modulators that can be applied to any parameter that has a knob. As far as feedback routing, Urs has said that Uhbik-X will provide a delay and feedback amount control for each fx slot.

As for the second one, I'm wondering if, for example, I can add a Runciter and an Uhbik-F (both at the same time, serially) in Uhbik-D's individual tap's (or even all taps') feedback path or not. Or something like that.
Peace, my friends. I'm not seeking arguments here.

I got the impression that the "preinstalled" version which will be coming at some point (it's needed for receptor compatibility and people afraid of .exe files) and that version should stay away from program files.Liero wrote:So, is there a version on the way that doesn't forcibly penetrate my sweet and innocent program files directory?

That's not quite right.justin3am wrote:As far as feedback routing, Urs has said that Uhbik-X will provide a delay and feedback amount control for each fx slot.
There will be routings with a feedback path, but the feedback will go from one distinct slot to another, such as from slot 4 to slot 1.
Putting a Runciter on a single tap within a single Uhbik-D is thus not possible. But of course you can have pretty wild delays with all sorts of things in the feedback path. You can for instance have Uhbik-D in the feedback path.
Cheers,

I was sure that uhbik D wouldn't be allowed to rest in the feedback path...Urs wrote: You can for instance have Uhbik-D in the feedback path.
This will make for some messed up noise...

I finally paid my uhbik order and got the codes this morning. So I'm now officially a member of the uhbik family. Can't wait to try them over the weekend without the vinyl clicks
