Hey Lennard,

just wondering if you could please add a knob for swing to the arpeggiator section. Unless I've missed a way to do that?

It's a poetic tragedy that Sylenth1 is my one synth with no groove in the arpeggiator, when it is the best sound for arp leads! I currently use the Ableton arpeggiator instead, but that has drawbacks compared to a built-in arp.

I assume it wouldn't be too huge an undertaking, compared with other requests like hard sync, ring mod etc.?

Is this something you think could be added in a maintenance update?

I absolutely love sylenth1 by the way.

cheers

Yes that may be added in a future update too. Any ideas where to put the swing knob though? (it's already a bit crowded in the arp panel).

By the way, you could also try hooking up Sylenth1 to an external Midi step sequencer to create some more advanced sequences!

Perhaps have a "1" "2" button between the mode box and "time" knob. So it could be like page two, with additional swing controls

Hey Lennard, thanks for responding.

I'd say maybe you could squish the arp area by making the boxes a bit smaller for mode and velocity etc. Maybe you could also save some space by using the short forms for some of the labels such Vel instead of velocity and Oct instead of octave. That would allow you to move those boxes left a bit and potentially get three knobs in there in place of the two current knobs. If the knobs could be smaller it might help too. You could either put the three knobs in a row or in sort of a triangle (two on bottom, one mid top).

Cheers

maybe you can re-arrange like this:

looking forward for this feature... :)

A Swing feature would be great.

But some way of calibrating it so it could match the swing of other instruments would be even better. Something more than "twist the knob until you think it fits".

Does the crew have any idea how to implement this?

Indeed this is a great idea. The new knob could be 1/3 the size of Time and Gate knobs, and placed between and above their horizontal center plane.

And if you make it MIDI controllable that would be sweet.

Normally there's also a setting for the type of swing, like 8th note swing or 16th note or whatever, but I guess that might not be necessary, as it could just use whatever time interval value the arp is set to. That's usually what you'd use anyways.

Swinging arp sound is very popular again . Hope this feature will be available as soon as possible .

Nimrod7 - very good idea , like it !

A bump from me!

Also, I'd like to see Arpeggio Pattern Presests (ala the Virus). I'm quite fond of chord mode, but I don't like to have to program the pattern every time, so a list of presets would be great! I use the Powercore Virus like this a lot, and for comping rhythmic stuff is a great feature!

Thanks,

... oh, and thanks for the group-buy, by the way!

Another arp-feature request: Why not extend the "Transpose"-numbers (-24 to +24) with a "C"-option. "C" would mean that at this position the whole chord instead of a single note is played. This way we could mix chord-mode with other modes (e.g. Up).
