Hello,
I might just be being a bit thick but I've just been playing with the demo of filterscape and the global lfo in filterscape VA doesn't seem to do anything. I wondered if it was some sort of demo limitation.

The global LFO in the initialize patch is not assigned to any modulation targets. You can choose to modulate anything with the word "none" in a small box and a "mod" knob above it. For example, here I've set the global lfo to modulate the "Warp" parameter on the first oscillator:

Be sure to change the value on the Mod knob to set the depth of the modulation otherwise you still won't hear anything. The only demo limitation on FS is after two minutes of use a short burst of noise will be intermittently released.
The Filterscape PDF Manual goes into modulation targets into much more detail than this should you be interested.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Thanks for such a quick response. I should have included in my question that I'd already tried the things you mentioned and I've had a trawl through the manual as well.
If I select for example lfo 1 to modulate a parameter it works fine but if I select lfo global nothing happens - there isn't even any activity shown in the little window to the right of the on button as there is with lfo 1 and 2.
I'm using Logic as a host just in case there are any known issues with Logic.

Please try

I remember there was some issue with somne modulators at some point during the Leopard Hotfix and what not installs. I should eventually publish this build as Filterscape 1.4, along with the corresponding Win version (which recently still had a mishap, but that should be fixed...)
