Ok GO!

I'd be interested to hear what others are doing with this outstanding synth!

Here's a track I did with the first few pre sets.

It's all Sylenth1 with the exception of cut up drum loops (Live 7 is my DAW).

Hello Nameless.

Well, it's new to me and I was hoping that I'd get to hear what others are doing with it.

My favorite thing about it is that it sounds great!

I'm not a sound designer nor much of a tweaker.

I like that it has patch after patch that's very musical and usable and with lots of character-not cheesy?

Well I enjoy tweaking stuff, so i love the depth of the filters on it, and the modulation parameters are pretty sweet too. But the sound quality and massive sound that you can create with it are a big plus for me, as is the CPU usage. I can run about 14 instance with barely that big of a CPU load all in real time.

Sounds pretty cool!

Here is one short section of something I am working on that uses Sylenth1 and Wusikstation. It has 3 more sections than this now, but I still need to finish it off before I post the full song anywhere:

iv'e just completed my soundset for Sylenth...4 months arghhh! anyways i'll post an mp3 demo at audio jelly and You Tube when im finished the 12-15 min demo.
the soundset is finished and covers house,trance,electro and vintage genres.arps,basses,seq,leads,pads house chords and stabs...

Airbase uses Sylenth1 - you can check his tutorial (watch in HQ) about bassline - he uses Sylenth1 there, you can see a patch there BS TranceDriver, and all the effects.

well, it's not only Sylenth1 showoff but very good tutorial

Im about 2:50 into the demo..just for some info here's what the soundbank will contain:

128 presets

10 Arps - 32 Basses - 13 Chords & Stabs - 5 Drum - 2 Fx - 14 Keys - 26 Leads - 15 Pads and 11 Sequences

The demo will contain a loop 1-8 bars then the same loop will appear again immediatley with external drum loops etc.
I'll upload the mp3 after it's all complete..Been to the pub today so i'll wait till later to get on with the demo but i'll let you know when i post it..in the next 48 hrs or so.

I don't have anything to up at the moment, as I am basically building riffs which I intend to incorporate into larger things eventually, but yes I thought Sylenth was really good, one of the best freewares out there.

I finished a song with 15 instances of Sylenth1 on SONAR 8 Producer Edition. Every sound you hear is an original, unmodified, "out of the box" preset in Sylenth1, even the percussion. I used two instances of Rubberfilter to cut high and low frequencies for the MP3, but that is all. Other than that, there is absolutely no additional processing (no panning, no EQ, no effects, no limiter, no compression). It's pure Sylenth1.
