Sure.. agreed, it is being sorted out right now and will be in the next firmware update.gafaell wrote:Jazzy.Shredder wrote:Anyone?Jazzy.Shredder wrote:A question regarding the V-Rack: what's the maximum number of effects I could run at a time if I am NOT using any instruments at all?
I'm asking this only because I'm considering the idea of getting a V-Rack just to replace my guitar rack. I'll only be using effects such as delays, verbs, filters, etc. So, essentially, I won't need to use any instruments; just effects.
I agree as well with these both posts.
How can you work with a device which is not able (yet) to save changes in the global menu when you turn it off???????

How do I import the effects from the plugs that also have the fx.dll file? This is for plugs like B4 II (B4IIfx.dll), VB3 (VB3fx.dll) and so on.
It seems that the VFX Application goes crazy when trying to import the fx if the instrument plug is already imported. It even destroys the vfxinfo.txt from the already imported plug.
Anyone having similar problems?
Also, why can I choose VSTis in slot 2 and 3 of the channels if they are meant to be used just with effects?
thanks in advance
Ramon

Highlight the Audio in 1 and 2- symbols (or just one of them). Or is it L and R instead of 1 and 2? I don't remember....mrmartini wrote:I haven't yet been able to get the "audio in" to work.
Anyone know how?

Is this something you can do in the V-Machine, or just in the VXF?
I can see that in VFX each channel have two "send" that sends to FX1 and FX2
Is this two "sends" the same that they called Aux1 and Aux2 in the V-Machine??

Don't yell at the man, please. Go 5-10 pages back, it has been explained somewhere, IIRC.

Hey, I just ordered my v-machine yesterday and can't wait for it to arrive.
I know that support for some of the more commercial plugins is coming along slow but smoothly from reading everyone of these forum posts.
Maybe I've missed it but has anyone started a Compatability Chart of Free and Commercial VST and VSTi plugins?
On sm pro audios site they have the "wizard" page but not all plugins will need a wizard so there is no way of knowing if the wizardless plugins will work ahead of time. ya know?
If you all want me to put it together... you can PM which plugins work and don't work that you've tested.
Please include Build Version, Plugin name, Plugin Manufacturer, level of functionality from 1 to 5 and any other info deemed useful.

you click one of these or both and this enables the audio input to that channel, you could have the Left going into one of the 4 mixer channels and the Right to another if you like as well, or both into one plugin.
