EVE2.3.

Is there a faster way to browse presets, as in buttons for prev/next? I read in another thread that there's supposed to be some but I can't see a thing... Is this only implemented in 2.4/win32?

Why do the FM & AM modes sound precisely the same?
(the absence of modulator fine tuning and inter-layer FM/AM really makes me wonder too)

I'm also puzzled about lack of fine tuning for most of the parameters.

There's also something weird happening when changing SoundSets, it happened twice, I heard a loud CLICK, after which the output went dead (similar to how an IIR filter behaves when something goes wrong). Switching to another preset and back seems to "fix" this. I was using a very long release time for the amp env.

This is a great sounding plugin, but I'm seriously doubting if I've put the money into good use...

Liqih.. please make things right before even considering adding new fancy features, usability and stability should always come first.

Can I get my money back?

beeswaks, thanks for your report, you are 100% right, <grin>

but I have good news, I just found a possible new partner for the Mac development, so the EVE 2.4 for Mac should not be too late now, I hope to have it less than 2 weeks.

BTW could you expand this you wrote?:

I really enjoy the sounds for EVE but also would love a better way of browsing presets. Has your new Mac person attacked this yet?

Great - any news when 2.4 will be ready? I, too, am having problems when scrolling thru presets adn also get "sample rate not recognized" message when using within Logic 7.2.3 or Logic 8.0.2.

Yes you can. The other libraries (2, 3 and 5) have been discontinued but the samples are still available by backintimerecords.de

Some changes: the update will be bigger and for both PC and Mac. And a new company is now involved with EVE 2, more news next week.

So the news is that Williamk (wusik.com) has updated EVE 2, both PC and Mac versions, and moreover wusik.com will support the plugin from now on. He plans also to add to EVE some good features from Wusik Station.

Like streming samples from disk and better support for all the WS samples.

Please get in touch with wusik.com or ask on their forum about the updates and the upgrade path.

We really hope that this change will be positive for everyone.

And anyway I had to do that to free me from the burden of too many products for one poor guy alone, <grin>.

Good news. I have already compile EVE 2.41 for both Windows and MAC. I will just be sure its all working correctly and release it later this weekend.

Just so you guys now. So far V2.41 is working with eXT and Garageband on my Mini-Man (Intel) but I could like to know who wants to test it out too.

As soon as Luigi sends me the list of all EVE users email, I can issue new Download URLs for the new V2.41 files. Both Win and MAC.
