You hear a lot of opinions about many others but so far things have been pretty quite on this one.

Seems like it has models to boot plus hey, its an Urs creation so I'm thinking it must sound good.

Any opinions on it?

URS (Unique Recording Software) ≠ u-he (Urs Heckman)

I don't know anything about that saturation plug-in, however.

Saturation is an amazing plug-in. It's a little tough to use because the models are very application specific but it's exceedingly useful once you get used to it. For example, the British Preamp model sounds amazing on bass but terrible on most other instruments (at least to my ears). I generally use about half a dozen instances per mix, with each instance set to a different model.

I'm always shocked when I see knobs with an even number of ripples/teeth. It's either 5, 7 or 9 but never 6 or 8.

that picture made me drool. I really wish U-he would do a kickass channel strip. Either as part of the dynamics bundle (basically so you could have U-He compression plus some EQ, saturation, etc. all in one plug) or as a separate product.

I'm currently thinking of Uhbik-X + Dynamics bundle as a nice channel strip.

I think I just can't stand channel strips without any sort of LFO or something for some sort of modulation or another.
