I'd like to see this in the next version of Sylenth...

Without wanting to confuse anyone not into designing their own patches i'd love to see the following implemented into any new version of future Sylenth releases..it's just a thought i had whilst programming some patches lately so here's what i'd like in SYLENTH V2.

On page A we have Osc's A1 + A2 and on page B we have Osc's B1 + B2.In any new version of Sylenth i would like to be able to route Osc A on page A to Delay - Osc B on page A to Phaser - Osc A on page B to the Arpeggiator and leave Osc B on page B DRY.
There are plenty of modulation facilitie's as is on Sylenth now but this would be a great feature to impliment for even greater sound designing possibilitie's.
I realise there is'nt much space in which to impliment this but maybe a PAGE C at the top of Sylenth dedicated to routing and modulation only would suffice like i have on my Virus Powercore Vst.
What i mean by all this is that it would be a nice thing to be able to do if we could split all Oscillators and route any 4 to any Mod we like instead of having to have all parts going to Delays,Reverb etc.
A dedicated Page C would solve the space issue on routing though i think...
Oh err without sounding greedy how about a SUB OSC button for each part aswell.Imagine these features guys and gals? This would blow all and any competition to Sylenth out of the water and i'd gladly pay well for them to be implemented in any future versions...

Sounds good!

It would be cool if Lennard would post something about what he plans for the future of Sylenth1, just so we have an idea of what may be ahead.

Also it would be nice to see a possible list of new ideas for it, (Top 5 etc...)that could be worked on/programmed, then let everyone vote and see what is the most popular idea(s) for a newer version. :)

Yeah i hope he's considering my request hehe it would probably make Sylenth top dog anywhere with those features..
p.s
I have JV2080 and iv'e been trying to replicate patches from it with Sylenth and it sounds pretty damn good..(JD990 Pizzicato) etc.
Cheers Rob

can you post that pizzicato preset? i wonder how it sounds

Isn't a new version nearly ready for release soon already?

More modulations possibilities and a dedicated page for modulation would definitely be an improvement over the current size of the UI and also be an improvement in streamlining the UI to show only what is needed.

It would be nice to be able to modulate the various FX parameters as well.

Is there a new version on the way???

Well just implimenting what i originally said in my first post would probably please everyone...
I spoke to Lennard about this before so who knows what he's up to...If im right in any way he's probably working on these features right now..
Im not bothered about skins coz colours don't make music..
Everything about Sylenth is great but implimenting the above would make it an all time great...

well, it's a great idea, but for them moment you can work around the global fx routing limitations with two instances of sylenth, no?

conversely, you can't work around the current limitations of the modulation matrix (we need more targets! at least envelope depth and attack time). therefore, this seems more vital to me. but not to many others, it seems :P

Also, hard sync, arp shuffle (and arp presets), more distortion types, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Arp presets would be a welcome addition :)

Arp presets??? Use your ear and have fun learning how to make your own arped patches... it's really not hard at all and is very straight forward in Sylenth1.

Post

No, like on the Virus. Arp presets are handy. I don't want to always spend the time programming the same arp pattern. It's not because I can't do it, it's just to save time.

+1 Sylenth has an excellent arpeggiator..there's so much it can do and it's loads of fun to use..the only arpeggiator better than Sylenths is that found on the Roland MC909 Groovebox..
