Hello everybody!!

I'm kinda new to MuLab - but I already (after 1 hr of testing the demo version) love it! ^^

I just wanted to know, if there is the possibility to trigger certain tracks with a midi controller (maybe akai mpd or something) -> something similar to ableton live?!?! I already read about playroom - i read that it was a sort of live tool in muzys?!? - could someone give me some information about that??

Thanks Jo for this great software! I really appreciate your work!! :)

cheers artificial

another suggestion:

i got really used to mulab as time passed and thought about the ways to use it live. it would be such a great tool for live use with a few tweaks.

so last night i got this simple idea:
if pressing the TAB key on the keyboard would switch the active rack from left to right, it would be amazingly easy to have a bunch of different synths with fx and everything ready to be used live and quickly pick the one you want to use. so TAB might switch right and CTRL+TAB would switch left?

It's not yet in MU.LAB 2.5, but it will be implemented in a future version.

M3 will feature user definable key shortcuts.

Then when there is a mappable function "Select Next Rack", we're there ;)

I'll add this to the whishlist.

omg
user defineable shortcuts
i didnt know that one was coming
its gonna change everything
cant wait

but hey i remembered one thing
mulab 1 had this neet little feature that when you select an object - a rack for example - you could change it's slider's value in tiny amounts by pressing the keyboard's up or down keys
can't seem to do that now and i really miss it

so will it be back with when we get the shortcuts system?

They have been replaced by the + and - keys for the arrow keys are reserved for other actions.

Tip: You can also tweak a knob or slider using the mouse-wheel. And when holding [Ctrl] the changes are very fine.
