BTW: Zebra's filter sweep is not naturally steppy, but for the sake of the clone, I "stepped" it a bit using the wonderful Mod Mapper

That is a close enough emulation that the difference is academic. I do hope you turned off the velocity sensitivity and also aftertouch cause the Juno had neither!

I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm hoping Howard comes back and says his link is actually the mp3 from the Juno site just shortened. Nothing like the ol' placebo effect.

I came back to say I spent a total of 8 minutes making that sound and posting the MP3 thereof. They sound closer if you balance volumes between the two, David B! All this is academic - Zebra can absolutely NAIL any Juno 106 sound but I refuse to prove it

It's clearly missing a touch of oscillator instability, and the original has a bit of nasty clipping/noise either from the Juno or elsewhere in the recording chain. I consider H's replica to be an improvement in both areas.

I was talking about digital sound of zebra and analogue of sylenth1. Thanks for proof of concept.

I don't mean "digital" is bad at all (It's horrible for my ears, but it doesn't mean bad for someone else). There's way more people listening to Rank 1 or Cosmic gate, rather than to Legowelt or Riders Of The Lost Arp (you know, what I mean)
