harp time demo /logic 8 problem

Hi,my first post here,hope its in the right place.
Very keen to check out Harp Time but demo doesn't work(big distorted buzz) on insertion using Logic 8 as host on a Mac pro running os x leopard 10.5.4.Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

we have tried again the HarpTime AU in Logic 8 with latest OS X, and an intel mac, but we can't reproduce the "big distorted buzz".

The demo version does produce a periodic noise, but I guess you don't mean that.

i have the same problem with the full version of harptime when used as a vst plug-in in cubase 5.
distortion and eventual crashing of cubase.
the problem is however intermittent and sometimes i get no sound at all.
but in the majority of attempts i get only distortion.
running the au plug-in with logic this problem does not arise.

I also got these really heavy dist. noises at Live 8 and Logic 8 from harp pro.
And pay attention, it can damage your speakers!

I'm trying to fix that, it seems that it started to happed with Logic 8 or with latest OS X,
with Garageband should not happen though, and on mac mini also Logic 8 works fine here.

Could it be a core issue? Please write here the CPU spec, beside OS X, host used and when the noise start, on plugin load or on note play
