Not necessarily. I'm not convinced the C4 has been that great a seller for them.

LOUD Technologies Inc. Receives NASDAQ Staff Determination Regarding Delisting
2009年02月27日 6:57
Business Wire
LOUD Technologies Inc. LTEC (the "Company") today announced that it received a NASDAQ Staff Determination Letter on February 20, 2009, indicating that the Company's common stock is scheduled to be delisted from the NASDAQ Stock Market (the "NASDAQ"), effective at the opening of business on March 3, 2009. The decision of the NASDAQ staff was based on the Company's failure to submit, by the prescribed deadline, an appropriate plan to regain compliance with NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(14) related to its failure to file a quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the period ended September 30, 2008 (the "Third Quarter 10-Q") by the prescribed due date.

I'm missing the punchline I think. I'm reading this as Loud admitting that they've spread themselves too thin. This seems to be a tacit admission that some parts of their business would do better if they were spun off. As GM have successfully shown the world: doing lots of things badly is not a recipe for success.Gabriel_S wrote: Interesting link, but as I read the interview and got to this part .....

The bigger question for us is whether Loud feel software to be part of their 'core market'. On the strength of it, one would have to be pessimistic, but since they chose to place Tracktion under the Mackie brand, surely a 'core' if ever there were one, maybe they'll continue to see that as a important long term strategy.
At least they seem to be showing signs of fining their feet again though, so if their problems have just been a result of too many people manning the fire-hoses, and no one left manning the phones, we might start to see some signs of life.

The check is in the mail. Can you make the connection between that and the quiestionable rhetoric about Mackie going out of business? When I see it I will believe it.
Just trying to learn about recording, that is if my head is not too hard.
