Musebox? Info

Hi all..Was just checking the Muse site and to my amazement, saw the writeup about the Musebox...
This may be what Im looking for...I use a Rec pro Jr, but only for piano, running Ivory w/Italian grand..which by the way is great...
But now out comes Omnisphere which is supposed to be a cpu intensive program, as are some of the PLAY libs I use in my G5 recording setup..so the thought is, install Omni (when it ceptorized) and other cpu intensive programs on the Rec and run it into my mac...make it a permenant part of my studio setup which would take a load off the G5...and checkout this new Musebox for my piano gigs...is there any more info on this and Ivory? I notice they mention Ivory in the writeup, so if it does or will do what the writeup says, for my purposes anyway, it may be the answer Im looking for....
Im going to also have to figure out how to ether the rec to my mac, but I understand that setup that way it works fine....anyone here use their Rec in that manor? New territory for me....
By the way, did Muse ever Receptorize the Bluthner piano? Thats another great one..
Thanks for any replies, Armand.

I'm using a Receptor Pro Jr as you've described, to take the pressure off my G5 native Protools system in the studio. I run mostly Native Instruments Komplete 5, and hope to add Korg Legacy Digital and perhaps Omnisphere in coming months. This works well in my opinion, and the only downside is having to wait for new / more plugs to be supported.

Thks, was it complicated getting the Rec hooked up to the G5? Im running LogicPro 7.2.3...not 8, dont ask....and do your Rec instruments show up as the samples u have installed?? Thks again, do appt the response.

I'm running PTLE with a 003R. Receptor integration is very straightforward. Just connnect ADAT out from Receptor into the 003R for eight channels, and SPDIF out from the 003R into Receptor for sync. In this configuration, Receptor is self-contained and not aware of any samples or patches residing on the G5. Mostly, I run Komplete 5 on Receptor with samples and patches that came installed as part of Komplete / Kontakt. If your hardware interface has ADAT and SPDIF connections, hookup should work pretty much the same way for you. In Logic you should be able to recognize the ADAT inputs and label them as coming from Receptor.

Thats a very good idea. Dont u use the Uniwire setup? I havent read that much about it, but doesnt it run off an ethernet cable, and the Rec instruments are
(supposed to) there? Im my case, in Logic Pro as an AU....
I recently tried a Rec, wasnt a Pro or Pro Jr...one thing I'll tell Muse about this idea about this Musebox....Make sure it has at least 2 GB memory...
