Hi Vojtech,

For external midi controller, could you make Attack/Release time sliders work in the same non-linear way as they do when we use a mouse, please? What I mean, even if I change midi data from 0 to 1, Attack time jumps from 0 to approx. 15ms.

Thanks,
Vitaly.

Hi Vitaly,

what you mean exactly? Those effects do not accept any MIDI data (it is not a virtual instrument).

Well, they might not accept midi data directly and yet there is a way to control them with ext. midi controllers.

In Cubase4/Devices/Devise setup/Quick controls, set 8 quick controllers to receive midi data from your external midi controller. Then, go to a (VSTi/audio) channel and select Quick Controllers. Here you can appoint all 8 quick controllers to any channel's parameters including plug-ins. Now, if you move a knob on your ext. midi controller it will change a position of an appointed slider of a plug-in. Very handy.

C'mon Vojtech, you need to catch up with technology :D

Cheers,
Vitaly.
