I too think the initiative started in this thread is a good idea.
As far as I can remember, I never got to exchange any posts with Tim here at kvr, but I think I have a vague recollection of him as a member of the SynthEdit forum at yahooo, back in 2003, when the SE users group started...
I do know I've surely read many of his posts, both here and elsewhere, and I do know that he was a top sound designer like Scott Solida of whom he was a personal friend. In fact I have a vague idea that I first read about both Tim and Scotts work in some magazine of the likes of CM or SOS or EM, I'm not sure, but anyway Tim's name was familiar to me as a well known sound designer. I consider myself also more of a sound designer then a musician, and was left wishing I had had the time to know him better through the forums, especially when I discovered that he was an Astronomy and Space enthusiast like me... So, I was surprised and sadned when I saw the thread about his departure.
And returning closer to the subject of this thread, What I was thinking now was the following:
It would be nice if we could make a list of VSTis and Banks that contain presets made by Tim, so that the ones that came late like me could have an opportunity to get acquainted with his work.

Here's a full bank (128 presets) for the just released, and dare I say "AWESOME!" AlioNoctis VSTi (Pro) Synthesizer ~ by HG Fortune

AlioNoctis VSTi details

AlioNoctis isn't listed in the banks & patches "data-base" yet (so I can't upload there), but should be very soon. In the interim, this is a link to download the bank from yousendit:

It's sad news to hear of his passing. I got started with vst from listening to his patches in Crystal. Then many others too. He will be missed here.

This one, is just some of my early experiments with Tim's amazing "Atomic".

Hi guys,

You can find a list of Banks that Tim uploaded to PatchArena here:

In Memory Tim Conrardy

I'm still searching the old database to see if there are any others that I may have missed.

Full bank (128-presets) of variations using the 'original' default sf2, which I did when Tim's M42-V2 was first released.

Mainly lots of slightly/subtly varied "rhythmic" and "seq" combination's, which are therefore easily 'mixed' live.

Just hold-down/latch any key (middle C is good) to audition.

This is a full bank (128 presets) of an assortment of my attempts at (quasi) "bread-n-butter" PADS, and some rather generic 'sequences'. Hope there's something 'useful'.

These were made with/for the M42_V2 Nebula using Tim's "TC_M42 Ambient.SF2" so the .fxb must be placed in the same folder as the SF2.

Thank you so much again. You honor Tim's memory by using the tools he created. I don't own M42 but I'm sure Tim is looking down and smiling with approval at your work. Much respect and gratitude.

Hello,

As most of you will know, Tim was an Atari user. Seven years ago he made three banks of 16 patches for the multitimbral softsynt ACE for Atari Falcon. Tim even composed some songs using ACE. Not many people still own (or have ever owned) an Atari Falcon. They're rare and still expensive.

I've sampled his DeepSpace bank for ACE. You can use the wave files in every sampler but I have created 16 Halion and Kontakt patches.

I don't have enough space to upload 85 mb, but if you mail me I will send the file with Yousendit.com.

I've never met Tim in person. Together with Tim I've created some drum patterns for Dr. Ambients AEX Atari sequenser.

Tim was the nicest person I've ever met on internet forums. And he was very generous too. I was shocked. He will be missed here on KVR. Rest in peace Tim.
