Uhbik FOP (frequently occurring problems)

OK, don't know why it took me so long to realize this, but all the Uhbiks are outputting mono

I've had a couple of blasts of extremely loud noise when playing with uhbik-A in reaper which very nearly took my headphone wearing head off , i think I was messing with the stereo width at the time. I'll only use them from the safety of behind a chair using one finger on the mouse now

I have been getting these loud bursts in reaper when using the
js guitar recab plug or whatever for loading guitar amp/cab irs.
I think it is reaper..

It will create blip noises when the device is turned on in Live, even when no audio is being passed through it

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Can you render a mp3 of it?

yeah but I think I located the problem, one of the plugs before it was maintaining some small subsonic audio level and when I turned runicter on with this base level of audio it would respond and "blip" really quick in response to it. If I got rid of the audio signal and turned runicer on/off it didnt do it anymore.

I recently reinstalled my old version of Adobe Audition 1.5 and tried scanning the latest Uhbiks. They all come up in the unsupported list. This is the only reason I reinstalled AA1.5 in the 1st place. Any idea of a reason they'd come up unsupported??

I sometimes hear a 'pop' when automating a bypass in Runciter. Im using cubase studio 4 running vista 32 on a q9300 chip. This pop was audible in my mixdown. I had to resort to automating the wet/dry to full dry. If im automating the use of a filter I will have audio present

(100/x as x -> +0)% of the time.

Nonetheless, I am very happy with all Urs-tuff!

Yeah, I'm going to add an automatable soft bypass at some point. This will do a short crossfade and stuff. Otherwise it's fairly difficult to get a proper bypass going because the switch usually hits a plug all out of the sudden.

Once upon a time a man traveled to Italy, and as soon as he arrived at the hotel room, he noticed it had a window overlooking a beautiful part of Italy. As he stood there looking at the beautiful view, he felt his health improve instantly. When he turned around to tell his wife, he began to feel bad. Not a big deal Urs. Just thought I'd bring it to the fore. They do seem to work if I wrap them in XT (in AA). Its a workaround for now. When ever you get a chance. You can email me or I will later to remind you.

edit: Just tested them out wrapped in eXT1.41 in AA1.5 and everything works perfect ! I will probably just use em this way as I can get some peak automation and extra routing features now ..
