YES! The sustain pedal!! Then I'm not the only one!
Thanks for being all over this everyone, especially you William. I wish the shop treated my car this way.

Yes, good news, found and fixed the problem, thanks to DevonB telling me to check note-priority.SaviorNeeded wrote:YES! The sustain pedal!! Then I'm not the only one!

Ttoz, sorry to ask so much, but could you run another test?
Turn off the Eacho, the denormal is gone right? Ok, now turn the release of the first layer to MAX. Hit a note, wait until the sound is off and CPU goes to zero. Does it also spikes after it goes to zero?

Great! Thanks. Does that mean I should redownload now?
Tom
PS--a prediction: The sales will eventually force you to release a pro version

Not yet, I will post a news latter today (prob by the end of the day) about the new version. Since I'm also adding other things, it may be due to tomorrow.SaviorNeeded wrote:Great! Thanks. Does that mean I should redownload now?

No-no! I was just kidding! I do think EVE will become a must-have for many people--I hope it does. It's obviously a fully-developed program so I am not at all expecting a pro version, it's already here.

Ahhh, no problemo.SaviorNeeded wrote:No-no! I was just kidding! I do think EVE will become a must-have for many people--I hope it does. Tom
The new update for tomorrow (or maybe still today) will have some new stuff and fixes:
- Sustain pedal fix.
- New Free Sound-Set: Electro Drum Kit
- Init preset as requested by some users
- The Sound-Set picture display now shows waveforms for all "Waveforms" category instead of the "Waveshape" text.
- Fixed a problem on the TapeDelay Eacho, that was causing a denormal isue on P4 machines. (yet to be tested)
Also, we will soon release a simple WAV to DASHsnd converter. (only one sample per file) Depending on the feedback of this, we may release a better one with GUI.

Good news. Devon just tested a beta of EVE that solves the problem with the denormals on the TapeDelay effect. Sustain pedal was also fixed.

BTW: If anyone has a neat song using only EVE, send to music@dashsignature.com and we will place on the EVE MP3 page along with a link to your music site.
This sure helps us out promoting EVE, so we apreciate your help and care.
