I can't believe nobody has mentioned Bobby Fischer's novelty hip-hop hit
'Lick My Sokolsky Opening'.

Gary Kasparov also enjoyed a few weeks on the charts with his romantic 'Albin Countergambit by Moonlight' which was blatantly ripped off by The Captain and Tenille to become 'Muskrat Love'.

just learned today that Mark Taimanov was a musician as well as chess player (and learned some other things in the other direction from your post)

this morning on the bus I read that Taimanov said that when he was playing music, he was taking a break from chess, and when he was playing chess, he was taking a break from music, so his life was a constant holiday (New In Chess 2008 issue 7)

many of those mentioned above are very well-known in chess history: Philidor, Morphy, Zukertort, Tarrasch, Znosko-Borovsky, Taimanov, Smyslov (sorry if I left out any)

now I'm thinking it's strange that Capablanca wasn't the Cuban Cole Porter
