Yep, the usual forced check. Plug a monitor, restart and press F12 on boot to see if indeed it is a forced check. If it is, then you'll have to bear with it.

5 minutes seems like an unreasonably long time to wait for an instrument designed to be played live to boot.

Yes i'm worried about this. I've had my new receptor for 1 week. Haven't taken it live yet, but with the issues i'm having of sudden reboots, I'll certainly had this concern in the back of my mind.
