No not at all cyforce i can take constructive criticism i take on board what you said and will do some tweaking but at the end of the day cyforce you either like it or you dont but by stating cheesy and trite gives other people the impression it will be shit! But everybody is entitled to there opinion and that is fine by me and i was only joking with you, your sound bank is good and good luck with it just having some fun!

hi just a note when ordering sound banks.i have posted a couple of screenshots below.

Loading the soundbank in this way works fine but for some reason it does'nt allow program changes on your midi tracks as the original list of factory bank 1 presets appear.

however loading my sound bank with this method everything shows up in program change and bank menus.

anyone having any problem just load up the sounbank normally from the sylenth menu and then re-save the bank at the top of sylenth where i have highlighted in the second screenshot.also make sure you have the latest version of Sylenth.

below as requested from some users is a screenshot of the preset list:

Just sent a Paypal payment to Rob and got the link emailed to me in minutes. That's better service than Rob Papen.....which is saying something!

Can't wait to get home and try them out now!

Quality meets the price, definetly.
Very useful material especially to Tranceproductions.
Looking forward for more!

Cheers.

thanks saarre im glad you like the bank.yes there will definatley be more banks..iv'e already started the second one.and as tehlord happened to mention Rob Papen,i regard him as one of the best out there in what he does.
it would be nice as im in the early stages of constructing my new Sound bank to hear what Sylenth users prefer to work with whether it be (trance, electro, house)or whatever as i can then focus on creating them for you and im not a one for filling any bank with fx sounds as iv'e only put 1 preset fx sound in my first Sylenth bank because i like to fill up the 128 spaces with high quality usable sounds, sounds that will sit straight in a mix with the need for very little external processing.
thanks again all!

Definately a very good set of stock dance sounds. I like the fact they're usable from the off. I usually flick through presets looking for a unique sounding lead, stab or something to kick of the creative ideas but after that I'm looking for sounds that will sit in a mix and not more filter wanking

This bank will be go to for some time to come.

It might be an idea to do a bank of leads that aren't necessarily a copy of other ones. I think you could probably do something to rival the Nexus leads (which I think is what it's best at) although Sylenth doesn't have the awesome Nexus reverb. What a lot of programmers seem to miss is the opportunity to map something useful to the mod wheel, like FILTER CUTOFF for example! :hihi:

I'll have to see if I can come up with something simple using just this bank.

Nice

hi tehlord, when i start out creating a patch i'll have an idea what i want it to sound like i.e
if i want to create a bass patch i'll have a drumloop or kick looping in Sonar then i'll load up Sylenth (init bank always),then with a raw saw/square/pulse or whatever i'll start tweaking until it gets to or near enough what i want.there's no point in tweaking other people's presets..there's no fun in that at all.advice is start from a basic waveform and build.
for piece of mind i'll then load up another instance of Sylenth to create a Lead,Pad,Chord or whatever goes through my head at the time.
so sometimes im working on 2 patches together, sometimes for 6-8 hours.after that i test what Sylenth sounds like in a real mix situation with external processing i.e compressors/gate etc.
when i have the parts sitting perfect in the mix and the levels are set (no clipping)i'll then turn all external fx/proccessing off and save the patch/preset.
another thing i do to make sure levels are right is to slam as hard as i can on the very most upper part of the keyboard(c7-c8 for example) playing a chord...if the vu meters turn red then i keep slamming just enough to bring the levels into the safe zone..hope you understood that hehe

rivalling the Nexus Leads using Sylenth would be quite a task as i think Nexus patches are constructed using many different layers from various sources im not sure how Nexus is done but i'd love a go at constructing a bank for it..Manuel is a great sound designer full stop!

i could get much more complex material done in Sylenth with extra wavetables and more modulation routing but that's for the future, maybe version 2.

:-o did i type this much hehe

thanks for the comments everyone..
