Well, it's more humane than sampling a burning zebra.

Congratulations and good luck Urs!

Great news. Congratulations Urs.
I think Zebra will win.

Pro Tools will get my vote over Cubase 5, but it will be hard to choose between Zebra 2 and Omnisphere. Both are fantastic instruments.

In the real world, it isn't the rule that the "best" wins. Look at the Eurovision Song Contest (well, maybe you shouldn't do that! ;))

How is it even possible that you would dare to rain the possibility of rain on our hypothetical victory parade?

If someone wants to buy my Omnisphere it's for sale, I buyed it, tried it, ... and then I removed it from my computer, this what happens when you can't even have a demo, what's really new in Omnisphere? They promised a lot of things before it came out and finally it's just another sampler. Oh yes: I forgot: some of the samples are really good, but good samples don't make an innovative software, in fact they should better nominee Omnisphere for the sample library, that's at least something I could understand, even if I'm not interested in it.

I hope that the jury will also make this distinction, so resale Omnisphere and buy Zebra, I'm definitely OK with that, the problem is just that I already have Zebra, any suggestions?

I really hope you'll get it Urs, just find it a pity that I can't vote for it. ;-(
The world is small but the possibilities are vast.

You are being unfair. You have a very powerful synth engine built in it. Just study it and explore it. It's full of samples, yes it is, and few programs really explore the synth capabilities, but they are there. And the FX section is simply superb.
Again, it will be hard having to choose between these two.

Even if Zebra doesn't win the category, the recognition of being nominated is a fine thing in itself. Big congrats! 8)

Congratulations on your nomination, Urs.
Zebra2 is well worth it.

I'm missing Synplant among the nominees. In my opinion it's much more innovative and "nouveau" compared to Omnisphere.

stay tuned

By the way, Al.Kamala if you ever visit Finland you'll find that your surname is pretty funny here.

"kamala" = "horrible" in our language. :-)

I have heard that my first name sounds exactly like the women's between-the-legs thingie in some common indian language, though.

Sorry for the off topic.

Zebra is easily the best on the list.
