Yes, it is a known problem with drag/copy introduced in the 8.3 update (and it's driving me nuts). It does not snap to the correct unit if you have "Move To" selected (unless you are zoomed all of the way in), but it is supposed to work if you select "Move By". Cut/paste also works fine. The update page says that they have fixed it in house, and they are working on getting an update together for it. Check forum.cakewalk.com or the update web page at www.cakewalk.com for more information.

hi there here's my latest release..an old track from 2005..the track is mostly Sylenth except the lead which is the virus

Thanks for the song, rob_lee. I assume that you have seen that the SONAR 8.3.1 update is out. It fixes the snap to bug. I am very happy. That bug was such a pain.

yeah i downloaded 8.3.1 that's how i got my tracks finished hehe..just added some sylenth to a couple of old tracks...

I created another song in my quest to explore the presets in Sylenth1. There are 15 instances playing (no bounce/freezing). I used two instances of RubberFilter to cut high and low frequencies for the MP3. I placed the Sonitus:fx Compressor on the master bus for a touch of compression followed by Boost11 (a limiter), all done on SONAR 8 Producer Edition. There are no other filters or effects. The sounds you hear are original, unmodified presets (including the percussion). Woohoo!

Relaxed techno track:
Penthanol

Dance/techno:
Got No Time

More moody stuff (the oboe and orchestrals aren't Sylenth1) :

In Penthanol just the synth sounds were done using Sylenth1. Drums where done mainly with Battery 3 and Live 6.
