so next update to all MeldaProduction free VST effects is out. Mainly GUI changes and fixes. Use install and enjoy .

Hallo,
I don't understand why you still haven't fixed the "enter key stolen by plugin" issue ? All your plugins are unusable at the moment for me.
I've buyed a licence in december 2008 for it.

Cubase use enter for start and 0 for stop (Numlok )
When melda plugin GUI are open Cubase does not react on these keys.

Plugins which does not show this behavior:
All Cubase 5 FX
All Kjaerhus plugins
All Voxengo plugins
All Key2Sound (now Koblo) plugins

Plugins which show this behavior:
All melda producton plugins
All DDMF plugins
AirEQ

Please fix this issue in the next update ! I really like your plugins,
but at the moment they are banned from my VST Folder.

Well I'm afraid this will probably not happen, because you can use SPACE. At the beginning we used both SPACE and ENTER and users complait about the SPACE, so it is removed now. I'll check if ENTER cannot be removed, but as far as I know it is necessary at some places and actually all users seem using SPACE key in Cubase and similar hosts.

But in Cubase 5 both space and enter does not work with your plugins when the Plugin gui is open !!!!!



There must be other way to solve this problems:

or all Cubase plugins:

When I open for example VintageEQ (Koblo) and press space or enter Cubase starts playing
When I double click on a value, a data entry window opens - I type in a number and then confirm with Return or enter. The Plugin GUI is still open. But then when I press enter next time Cubase starts again. The enter button only used for the plugin when the value window is open ! This is also the way how all Cubase plugin work

When I open your plugins and press enter or space Cubase5 does not start.
I have to click first somewhere in the Cubase Arranger window then Cubase starts
When I change something in the melda plugins again (GUI always open) and press enter or space Cubase does not start again. I have to click again in the arranger window.

Interesting, ok I'll check it out. I thought space should be working correctly. I'll check and let you know.

Well, I just checked the new versions and surprisingly everything seems working - no plugin I've checked captures SPACE, and seems that ENTER is not captured too. So does anyone else experience this behaviour?

I tried it in Reaper works OK

I tried it in Cubase 4 start with space works OK Everytime
When you press enter with opened GUI the first time Cubase starts playback. When you change the Knee mode, enter open everytime the Knee Mode window again until you click in the Cubase Arranger Background.

Yes, there are exceptions, but in 95% cases not the space nor enter is handled. Knee mode is just a combo box / switcher control, which uses the enter. This is necessary to provide good UI for those who use keyboard a lot. I hope these exceptions won't disturb you too much.

edit-small(and not very important) sugestion for the future, since this pluguins are very "handy", maybe a button to , first i thought hide/show the displays, but pherhaps just to minimize the displays (eq, compressor), lets say 1/4 or more of the size, something like that, so we could toogle when we needed the displays or not..

BTW Any chance for MAnalizer/Average Length exponential release time behavior, we discussed before?

Minimizing displays - I'm afraid that is not very simple, the main problem is with changing host window sizes - most VST hosts cannot do that without some serious hacks . I'll check it out.

The MVibrato is still buggy? Jesus, I've to check it out again, I thought this has been fixed. I think that was always with MVibrato, MTremolo should be fine, but I'll check that one too, just in case .

To the MAnalyzer - well, maybe it would be possible, nto sure right now. Anyway it seems to me that it is already too powerful for a free plugin. Will think about it . Btw. you can use MSpectralDynamics for that (but you are the only owner right now, since it hasn't been finished yet ), but yeah it is like hunting insects with bazooka .

Hey Vitaly, I just checked and the new version of MVibrato, MTremolo and other is correct. Are you sure you tested the new versions?
