if your're using 3d software and things arent proportioned right i'd first assume that your camera needs adjusted... i would play around with camera settings until you have the shot framed right. it's hard for me to imagine rendering out of 3d and dropping that streight into mulab without any further editing, at least cropping i mean.

Hi theorize,
yes I do work with the camera but it gets a little more complex than that when I go to the Render. I use Maxwell and HyperShot(HS is unbelievably fast, real time render)and from them is not an easy thing to get The Right Size.
You see, when you finish with these Renders you've got a skin that is impossible to judge it if it was a real piece of equipment or a 3D illusion. We are using them for everything, from jewelry to consumer products and the final result is stunning, and I am thinking to bring this to MuLab.

I am very busy and time for this is very limited but I will nail it down!

Thank you. Any suggestion is always appreciated. :tu:

shat i forgot about this thread, did you get it? you are using an orthographic view instead of perspective right?

edit: you say Rhino, you mean rhinocerose? I remember drooling over that at one point but if i remember it was at least $800 and I'll never be able to afford that, that's a damn pro price.

editedit: I remember doing a mock-up for a vst skin once in 3d once that had to conform to it's dimensions and i remember it being a pain in the rear. good luck i hope you gedder done.
