Hello Peeps,

I trying to make a sound that wobbles a little bit during the last phase of the sound. so you get the attach and decay norlaml then probably in the sustain part of it the pitch or filter wavers slightly. but i also would like the amount wobbly ness to be controlable by the mod wheel.

i'm trying to make a woodwind instrument type effect your see, where the players breathing wobbles a bit once the note susstains. but this tremolo can change for added expression.

so yeah any help you can give me with this would be cool.

cheers

Automation.

i don't want to use automation if i can avoid it as i'm trying to make patches that work in a live performance and are 100% done within the synth

So assign Pitch to an LFO, then set the delay/offset of the LFO as required.

You'd use an LFO on VCA modulation where the ModWheel controls the amount.

thanks for the help.

Instead of modwheel, you can use aftertouch as well. I like that better for vibrato. This also leaves the modwheel for controlling say the brightness of the sound where you can leave it

I often set up this kind of vibrato with the LFO controlling both the volume and pitch (just a wee bit)
