Hello
I am wondering if any tutorials exist for consequence, I am having major problems understanding this software and using it with my host...Logic 8.
I am trying to get audio from consequence to logic and can't even manage to understand how to do that.
Is it possible to have all notes being played from the 3 different instruments in consequence to be in midi data on my daw, how do i do this with logic? Could somebody give me a baby step introduction on what to do
Thanks

Hello nextlife,
we are currently working on making Consequence tutorials.
That should make some sound already.
greets,
Robert

Plug Consequence in an instrument track, choose a preset and hit play!I am trying to get audio from consequence to logic and can't even manage to understand how to do that.

Unfortunatly Logic does not support MIDI out for plugins currently, but we are working on a workaround. Use the VST version and a host which can handle MIDI out (Live, Cubase) to capture the MIDI from Consequence. Is it possible to have all notes being played from the 3 different instruments in consequence to be in midi data on my daw, how do i do this with logic? Robert,
I could get Consequence to play sound in LOGIC8 no problem, but how do I record that audio? Or how could I convert that to MIDI notes?

Hi Carlos,
you could simply record the output of Consequence with the builtin audiorecorder(only in the full version). Or you can just bounce your track in Logic. (like you would do with every other virtual instrument)

Quick question
I have consequence instruments on my main harddrive (macintosh HD/Consequence Instruments)
Is it possible to move the instruments to a new location and have consequence read them from the new location? Can you give me a quick how to guide?
Thanks

That might be in the manual. I can't say fer sure, cause its been months since I read the manual, but you might find this in there.
You just want to put the bulk of the files on an external drive? Right? Its like a gigabyte of info and all, and takes up space...
Sure...
Most likely a how too, in your manual.
If not, than nevermind......
Rico will probably help you out soon.....
Cheers

Is there a tutorial that would show you how to record at least a bar worth of audio? I am using LOGIC 8 and whenever I try to record a bar, I'm only able to pic up a snippet of audio. Please help!

Inside Logic, you can bounce audio as well.
Using the internal audio recorder in Consequence, make sure
that you save the file after you stopped recording.
Currently 2 files are saved then (a bug that will be fixed),
you should use the file with the extension .wav.aif.
I just tried that and dropped the "new file.wav.aif into the logic
arrangement window and it played full length without a problem.
