I would like to know how to get ERA 2 working with ableton live 7?

put ERA on a midi track.

put another synth on another trck, and set it to take it's midi input from the first track.

be sure to set up ERA2 midi-out channel number to match and off you go.

I don't know what I'm missing, but I can't get it to work the way you are saying. I done everything you're telling me but the second track where I inserted the instrument vst plugin don't take midi from the first track, where I inserted era.

Any idea ?

Check to make sure that within the MIDI recieve field that you have not only chosen your first track (the one with ERA) by name but also that the name of the actule device not just the track that ERA is on is shown in the second field under that. When using Atomic's Sequencer I must configure it this way. Be sure ERA's MIDI is sending out to your synth.
