I'm proud to announce that I've been able to solve my truepianos problems
:lol::lol:
Uninstalled the product, deleted all registry entries, installed again, than playing it from an external disk doesn't result in CHOKES!
Unfortunately I always use piano togheter with hammond and also using an external HDD, truepianos with B4 or VB3 DOES give CHOKES!
So, for the live concert of this friday night I'll use my old 2,8 ghz pentium 4 notebook (1GB of RAM), with FORTE, that allow me to run a scene with The Grand, B4, Atmosphere, Hypersonic and FM7

After reading all posts, I still don't understand why would anyone buy Vmachine instead of cheaper and much more powerful NetBook computer such as Dell Mini 9 for example..?!

The only thing that V-Machine has as its trump card for now is the size factor. Not a single netbook can reach that now (no monitor, no keyboard=smaller dimensions).Leslie wrote:I still don't understand why would anyone buy Vmachine instead of cheaper and much more powerful NetBook computer such as Dell Mini 9 for example..?!

It could be great for a new reality "make it smaller"DragonSagoth wrote:The only thing that V-Machine has as its trump card for now is the size factor. Not a single netbook can reach that now (no monitor, no keyboard=smaller dimensions).
Unfortunately we have to play songs and not develop nanotechnology researches

You could go with Cantabile 1.2free instead of Forte if you only need a couple of VSTi.
Or even VSTHost!
You can use VSTHost without opening the lid of your netbook via midi program changes. No visual feedback, but very small size factor and you can even use it without mains power!

How do I do to use the USB stick for HDD?
I put the USB stick into the V-Machine and the V-Machine automatic starts to load.(On the USB stick is SampleLord + Scarbee soundfiles Bank and Plug maps)
What is it loading here. Is it only the ddl-file or also the soundfiles?
How do I know make the sound files to stay on the USB-stick?

I think when you set up Sample Lord in VFX then you hit the button ( Multi? ) to save as a samplelord bundle file. then you use VFX to export machine to USB. after that you can run samplelord from the USB stick or you can import the samplelord bank to v-machine's internal storage.

Sad to say, but SM-Pro does not seem to do things by user demand.
Actually this seems to go just the opposite way. If you already bought the V-machine, they have had you, and you are simply forgotten.
Now they just make some sort of mac-mess and try to say that users demanded it. I think they only try to lure more buyers with false hopes to become beta-testers.
I had already made an order for V-machine, but fortunately stumbled on this thread and canceled the order. Not because of the limitations of the hardware but because of the company support policy.
