Receptor 2 and System Log

Hi Everyone,
For owners of Receptor 2 (new units and upgrades):
Can you access your SystemLog.txt file (in the Reports folder, top level of Receptor HD)?
I am finding that my SystemLog is a symbolic link, and additionally it seems to be a broken link. Unfortunately, this leaves me with very few options to get debug info when there are (pretty frequent) Receptor 2 UI crashes.
I'd appreciate any info you might have,
Thanks, Regards,
Kevin L

Hi Kevin.I to have a new Receptor 2 Pro Max with the same problem.I get a error message "The alias System Log.txt
could not be opened because the original cannot be found."I have contacted Muse Research Tech and they said the link is lost.We tried a few manual patches but no joy.I suggest you send in a ticket to get them to respond to this problem because they said I,m the only one with this problem.

Thanks for the note nlsmith!
Yeah - I did already mention this problem embedded in another ticket I sent to muse. Unfortunately, they didn't respond to that detail (perhaps I need to separate it onto another bug incident).
I certainly hope this is not a broken link on the disk image that all Receptor 2 Pro owners are getting, otherwise we are all flying blind without diagnostic information when trying to debug problems with installing VSTs via the unsupported method.

Hi Everyone,
We figured this one out at Muse HQ --
The problem seems to be with the latest Mac OS (10.5.6). When viewing the System log file remotely on this version of Mac OS, the log file appears as a broken link. From earlier versions of Mac OS (or on windows) viewing remotely, it appears as a standard text file.
Regards,
Kevin L
