Thank you for your feedback, but after some experiments I just came to the conclusion that I will take a gray color for the background, and furthermore I decided (after showing it to my tutor) to make the background darker... and yeah, now I'm really happy with the result:

Well, personally i prefer illustrations.

Because they're easier on the mind i think and they don't need any translation.

the border color is black now... after talking to jo, I decided to ask you, what you like more, black or white borders... so, what do you think? any other suggestions?
