Hey Lennard, just curious about what synths inspired sylenth1 as far as oscillator sound, filters, structure/ etc.
I know it's not an emulation of anything, but did you take parts from this or that classic analog synth, or seek to reproduce any of your favorite elements of older synths?
cheers!

Agreed...sylenth reminds me of the old Rolands I grew up with from a UI perspective. For the sound, it's quite unparalleled.

I think you're right. I've never played a juno, but I've been watching a ton of juno-60/juno-106 videos and I have to say that I think sylenth1 really nails that sound in particular. I wonder if this was on purpose? I doubt that a specific juno emulation could even get much closer than sylenth1 can.Sami wrote:For me personally Sylenth's character reminded me of 80s Roland synths (Juno 106/60) ...

He said in this german interview:

http://www.amazona.de/index.php?page=26 ... le_id=1186
Which means something like "I like the analog sound of the Minimoog, but also the Unison sound from Virus or JP8000. Although I didnt use those as reference, they did inspire me indirectly, which you probably can hear"AMAZONA: Ja ich vestehe!
