I know from the pianoteq forum that intitially there were some issues getting this going properly. Could someone from Muse speak to whether or not this is on the radar?

I'm using pianotec It sucked when used through uniwire but works fine through the outputs. You can use the addons folder to dump the PTKs but you have to reboot after. I dropped FXPs in the drop installers here but a couple of them wouldn't install. it will Probably be some time before they have a receptorized version 3 though. Not sure but I think you can drop the upgrsde in the drop installers here folder.

Bumping my original post. Tastefully, and just once.....

OK...bumping again a month later...

Phil, you will get no harassment from anybody for bumping your own topic when it comes to the question of "what is Muse's plan for making software X work on Receptor?"! I'd suggest also opening a support ticket at Plugorama asking your specific question again. You won't get a solid answer - likely no answer at all - but...just maybe you will.

Good luck! :tu:

LOL
A minor scale is a major scale starting 3 half steps down from the major and visa versa. Any Chord has as many versions as it has notes.

I'll add a bump just so folks at Muse know that there are others interested in Pianoteq 3.0

Here's an update. We've been discussing this with the guys at Pianoteq. There are a couple of issues, one is that they update their software quite a lot, and since we iLok protect it, it is hard for us to stay current, even though we'd like to. Secondly, Pianoteq3 supports add on modules, and we're not sure what the security implications are for that...

However, the plan now is to test it and see how it goes, and if all goes well, we should be able to release it as a plugorama download soon, else we will build in support for it in Direct Install.

Cheers

Thanks for the update groovology!

I used my Receptor with Pianoteq 2.0 today after using Pianoteq 3.0 on my PC and it was a startling difference...version 3.0 is pretty awesome. It was awesome enough that they released it as a free update, but they made it sound so much better that I can't use 2.0 anymore! :-o

The electric piano add on is also stunning...

I haven't been able to check it out, so I'll look forward to doing so...

Groovology, thanks for getting on board this and other Receptor compatibility threads in the last day or two. Almost makes me want to retract my earlier comment in this thread. (Almost :D) If you and/or the rest of the Muse crew can keep up the communication you will have some happy customers!

Thanks!

Tank you Groovology for responding to our needs. I'll take PTech 3 any way I can get it. Sounds way better than ver. 3

Not that this has to do with this thread but do you know if there is any possibility of getting Waldorf plugs to work on Receptor. I know there is a way but I really don't want to have to get into its registry.
